I've been re-reading a lot of Frank Miller's Sin City series the last few weeks. I don't really know why, but I go throught stages where I feel like I need to. Likewise I go through stages where i do nothing but re-read all my Doonesbury books, too. I guess I am just looking for some creative inspiration from artists I admire. I have a lot of projects to do in the next month. I have to finish that video documentary and I am "DJ"ing a friend's wedding. granted, my wife's iBook will be running the show, but I have to hunt and gather music and put the playlists together. I am hoping this all works out okay.

More soon,

This has been one long busy summer, and of course it went by very quickly. If there was one thing I could use to describe this summer for me it is: Theme Parks... and travel, too. We did lots of traveling! Cleveland was the big destination to visit some friends...and of course we couldn't resist the urge to spend a day at Cedar Point! I was battered and bruised by the end of the day from all the G-forces and vertical drops, but it was a blast! I lost track, but I think we went to Rochester about 6 times! In August we spent 5 days in Old Forge which was great. This included a day at Enchanted Forest/Water Safari. I happen to have a great big water park jones these days, so that was a lot of fun. On labor day we went to the Great Escape in Lake George, which amazingly I had never been to despite its closeness. Throw in another trip down to the Catskill Game Farm and you can see where this is heading!

Needless to say, this has not been a very creative summer for me. I have started editing on my documentary video for the Albany Curling Club. A lot of work and such a short time left to finish.

I have completed 6 segments of ReMNaNTS so far and a 7th is about 90% done on my drawing table. It has been sitting there pretty much since April or May when I started it, so i need to get back there again. I just spent the last few days cleaning my work area upstairs, so that should help.

talk to you all soon!
