Good Morning to you all,

Just about finished! I inked and lettered the last panel late last night! Now i need to bust out the Pro White and make corrections. I might even see if I can dig up some tone sheets for some shading...though after a few years, I don't know how well they might work!

After i finish this, I have to devote some time to designing a 50th Anniversary pin for the Albany Curling Club. Next year will be 50 years since the current club opened and they are commisioning a special pin to celebrate the event. I will also be undertaking a big video project in conjunction with the celebration. More details on that soon. I have to find out if the project is approved.

Talk to you all soon!

Good Morning everybody,

Not much to report. I didn't get to finish the strip yesterday like I had hoped. We spent the night recovering from the weekend, doing laundry and changing bed sheets. Alena has developed a bit of a cough and has been quite cranky. With all the drooling she's been doing we think she may be cutting a few more teeth to go along with the two she already has!

Hopefully more to report tomorrow!

Howdy y'all,

I hope that your Easter holiday (or Passover for that matter) was a good one. I enjoyed myself, though it was hard work hosting Easter this year. I cooked up a pretty well received dinner, offering up Salmon (and Ham for the kiddies). My parents and sister Mary came over to join the festivities and we had a really great time. afterwards, we bundled Alena up for a walk around the block hoping that the fresh air would make her sleepy. Unfortunately it seemed to enervate her! Oh well.

Saturday night we sat down and watched what was probably one of the worst movies I had seen in a while. Cold Mountain. If you haven't already seen it, please avoid at all costs. It is relentlessly hackneyed and overhyped. The whole time I was watching this, I couldn't help but wonder how the hell this thing got nominated for best picture! I could go on a tirade here about it, but I'll save my breath for something more positive!

Despite the breakneck pace of the weekend, I made a lot of great progress on my strip. I finished another panel and inked in the last panel which just needs the lettering to be finished! After that I have to break out the Pro White and make corrections. there are a few smudges of ink and one typo that needs fixin' (I actually fell asleep while I was lettering on Saturday night, and totally fouled up the word "pregnant"!) This one is VERY close to being done! and then I can concentrate on working up some new graphics for the web site which i hope to have revamped and up by next month, the 7th year anniversary of my on-line prescence. More updates as they are available!

ciao for now amigos!

Hi gang,

Last night I rough penciled in one of the remaining panels, but didn't get much else done. spent most of the night on our new couch watching a movie with Emily. We took in the Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore opus: 50 First Dates. It was okay for a video, glad i didn't go see it in the theater! The best part was the Spiderman 2 trailer on the beginning of the tape! At least it wasn't that long! The new couch is too comfortable though and we both fell asleep after the movie and didn't wake up until after Letterman! After making bottles for Alena, I realized that the computer was still on upstairs so i went to shut it off and the drawing table called out to me for a little of my time. that's when i got that panel penciled. A few minutes each day and i will get it done! I am getting pretty close now!

Talk to you soon! We have to prepare for Emily's family coming for Easter this weekend!

hey all,

chugging away. almost done with the strip d'month. (okay, I actually started this one in January, but I have made a lot of progress on it in the last few weeks. I have completely penciled inked and lettered all but 2 panels and those will fall sometime in the next few days. it is like blood in the water and my artistic sensibility is a shark...it wants to get this done! It is a good thing when all I think about all day is getting back to the drawing board for more!

I got an insanely perverse thrill cleaning out my Rapidiograph the other day. First time I had done that in a few years so it really brought back memories!

More soon!

Hey gang,

made some good headway on my latest strip. I have lettered all but one panel and inked in another 1 and 1/2 panels, so i am closing in on having this one finished. I have a few more on the back burner of my sketch pad and will put those into production next.

I also asked my more talented brother Rick to layout and rough a short story for me to finish. He came through with a 5 pager about some mountain climbers which should be fun to do. I plan on working on it as an ANTI-SOCIAL LAWNMOWER bonus feature. I may post up some of it on my new website once it goes online next month. Work on the new site is coming slower than I want, but I am getting some of it done. The new portal image is pretty much complete, and I am fairly happy with it.

Did I mention that i saw Kill Bill Volume One last week? It was pretty good, but could have used a little more polish in some areas. I thought. I am really looking forward to Volume Two, though.

Talk to you all soon,
